Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer in-home speech therapy in Arizona?
Yes! We specialize in in-home speech, language, and feeding therapy across Arizona, including the Phoenix metro area, Prescott Valley, Flagstaff, and surrounding communities. Our therapists come directly to you, making it easier to fit therapy into your routine.
What ages do you work with?
We provide therapy services for children and adults of all ages. Many of our clients are pediatric, but we also work with adults who need support with communication or feeding.
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
In many cases, yes. If you are using insurance or certain programs, a referral from your physician may be required. If you’re unsure, don’t worry—we’ll let you know exactly what’s needed and help guide you through the process.
What areas do you serve in Arizona?
Because we are a mobile practice, we are able to serve a wide geographic area. We provide services throughout Arizona, including:
- Phoenix and surrounding areas
- Prescott Valley and the Tri-City area
- Flagstaff
Do you accept insurance?
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and accept out-of-network benefits. We also offer private pay options. If you have questions about coverage, give us a call and we can help you understand your options before getting started.
Do you work with DDD or ESA programs?
Yes. Word Play is a qualified provider with the Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and an approved provider for ESA (Empowerment Scholarship Account) students. We can help coordinate services and guide you through how to use your benefits.
