We Offer Therapy That Comes to You
Word Play was built by Stephanie Strom and Lorraine Read, two speech-language pathologists who wanted a more practical, effective way to help the people they serve.
After years of working in schools, hospitals, and outpatient settings, they saw the same challenge again and again—therapy was often disconnected from everyday life. Skills practiced in a clinic didn’t always carry over at home, at school, or in the community. Word Play was created to change that.
Today, our practice provides speech, language, and feeding therapy for children and adults across Arizona, with services delivered directly in homes and community settings. By working in real environments, therapy becomes more relevant, more comfortable, and more useful in daily life.
